Elite Vs Essence Pro

The Elite/V7 models have an innovative design, while the Essence system looks more like a traditional system with mast and arm.
Application
Overall Look
The Elite/V7 depends on the "ShiroPillow" cushion to funnel oil back into the lower bowl. A massage table with 2 holes (for standard face cradle) is required. The Essence is completely stand-alone, thus can be used with non-standard massage tables or beds.
Oil Control
The Elite/V7 is quite easy to lift and place into the passenger seat of a car (for example, for home treatments). The Essence is more cumbersome to load into a car without disassembly.
Portability
The Elite/V7 models depend on the "ShiroPillow" cushion to funnel oil back into the lower bowl. The Essence uses an innovative "head hammock" that is extremely comfortable, prevents any pooling of oil under the head, and keeps the head facing up even if the client falls asleep.
The ShiroPillow will likely need to be replaced every two years with regular use. The mesh "head hammock" needs to be laundered between clients (comes with 3, more can be requested).
Assembly
About 4 tablespoons of liquid remains in the Elite/V7 system after draining. The Essence has a drain valve that allows all oil to flow out.
The Essence uses touch buttons, making the control surfaces easier to wipe down.
The Elite/V7 has minimal assembly steps for first use. The Essence system has a more involved initial assembly (instructional video assists with this step).
